Habonim M series ball valves are used as a shut-off device in pipelines for the transportation of ammonia. These cranes are designed and manufactured taking into account all the technical and sanitary standards for equipment related to the processing and transportation of this type of raw material.

DESIGN

Valves of the M series (Ammonia) have various options for connecting to the pipeline line - threaded connection, connection for welding (butt or lap), flange connection according to the ANSI standard (class 150 or 300), flange connection according to the DIN standard (PN16 or PN40).

Flanged valves of this series are manufactured in the nominal bore range from 1/2" inch to 8" inch. Split body valves (three-piece) are manufactured in the nominal bore range from 1/4" to 6" inches. The standard ball and stem are made of stainless steel.

MANUFACTURING PROCESS

The M Series (Ammonia) valves undergo a high level of machining and deburring during the manufacturing process. The assembly process of cranes takes place in a room specially designated for this purpose, called a "clean room", using special protective clothing and disposable gloves. Any residues of combustible and flammable materials found on the surface of the faucet are removed immediately. In the assembly process, only materials and substances that are neutral with respect to ammonia are used. Testing of cranes is carried out on a special stand using pure nitrogen.

PACKAGE

Before packaging, all valves are moved to the "open" position. Each faucet is packed in a transparent plastic bag with a moisture seal. The faucet is labeled 'Prepared for Ammonia Service' to indicate its purpose.

OPTIONAL DEVICES

To automate the control process, the Compact II pneumatic drive, which is Habonim's own development, is installed on the M series carnes (Ammonia). It is possible to install a locking device to fix the extreme end positions of the crane, as well as to install an original locking device to fix the “last working position” of the crane. For installation on pipelines having a wide insulating casing, an extended stem design is used.
