Three-way valves type GV3 are used as diverter or mixing valves.

Mainly used for thermal fluids (chilled or heated water, hot oil, etc.)

Three-way valves are used as mixing or bypass valves at the inlets and outlets of pumps and heat exchangers. Another typical application is the mixing of cold and hot media to obtain a setpoint temperature. In most cases, valves type GV3 are used as control valves with an integrated electric or pneumatic positioner, analog type, or a more modern digital type with the ability to program various functions, as well as a digital interface for remote programming, data collection and control.

In most cases, electric valves type GV3 are used with an external control signal, either with floating contacts or with an analog signal 0/4-20 mA or 0/2-10 VDC.

Digital connection for control signal and feedback, position switching, remote programming, data acquisition and control is optional.
