Level indicator U48x40 serves to display level of liquids in steam and hot water boilers when using clear or reflective glass.

To visualize the readings, the principle of refraction of rays (contrast of light and shadow) is laid down. The level gauge with sight glass consists of a middle part enclosed in a glass holder, as well as shut-off and drain fittings.

Glasses are used for temperatures up to 250 °C. The connection to the process is made by means of a flange connection. Drain devices are installed in the lower flange. If necessary, an air vent valve can be installed in the upper part.

Standard size L= 50….500 mm;

Special version L >=500 mm.

The level indicator U48x40 has a safety function - an automatic ball valve.
