Automation of technical accounting of consumption. At a time when the cost of energy carriers (and, accordingly, heat carriers) is increasing, the question arises of the efficient use of material flows. Efficiency in the use of resources is impossible without accurate and complete accounting of their consumption.
The flow metering module has been specially developed by Artesia for this task. With its help, you will always know the real consumption of the resource, the archive of consumption changes will allow you to find opportunities to improve the efficiency of energy use.
Automation of technical accounting of consumption. Key features:
- current consumption indication;
- registration of hourly consumption;
- registration of the total expense;
- expenses archive in Microsoft Excel format;
- displaying the change in consumption in the form of a graph;
- signaling about the malfunction of the sensor-flowmeter;
- mass flow measurement (optional);
- connection to the dispatching system using RS-485 or Ethernet interfaces (Modbus protocol);
- the ability to view information even from the smartphone screen;
- the possibility of modifying the module for the special needs of the object.

The main advantages of the module
- Connecting multiple meters
If it is necessary to measure several flow rates, all flow meters can be connected to one module. - Mass flow measurement
To calculate the mass flow, pressure sensors are additionally used, which can be connected either directly to the module or to the control panel, from where the module will “take” information about the pressure of the medium whose mass flow must be measured. The basic functionality of the module allows the user to simply select the medium for which mass flow is to be measured, and the software, based on this selection, will independently determine which data should be used to convert volume flow to mass flow. - Viewing consumption as graphs

The convenience of viewing data by the operator is one of the main requirements for modern control systems. Graphs allow not only to view the current values of costs, but also the dynamics of changes in consumption over time. The user has the ability to scale the axes of the chart and view exactly the period that interests him most.
- Saving data in the archive

To create reports on system operation, you need to have a history of parameter changes. The module allows you to maintain and store the history of consumption changes. The archive records the total resource consumption every hour of module operation. The user has the ability to view the archive, and, like when viewing expense charts, he can choose the period for which the archive is to be viewed.
- Event logging

The module keeps a log of events that occur during its operation. The log is interactive, which means that the user, in the event of abnormal situations, must respond to what happened. The module is equipped with an audible alarm, which is used to attract the operator's attention when the module's operation goes beyond the limits.
Additional feature
By separate order, the flow metering module can be programmed to perform control functions. In this case, the module will control the valve drive through which the energy carrier is passed.

There are 2 possibilities for generating control signals:
- the module itself generates a signal based on the algorithm that is embedded in it. In this case, a sensor must be connected to the module, with the help of which the parameter to be regulated will be measured;
- the module receives a command from the control panel and immediately sends a physical signal to the valve.
The use of such a structure makes it possible to make the system more distributed, which, firstly, facilitates the load on the control panel, and secondly, increases the reliability of the system as a whole.
