Steam condensate modules for the heating and ventilation system were designed and delivered to one of the pharmaceutical enterprises in the Kyiv region. The thermal load of each module is 650 kW, each module is rated for 50% of the total thermal load of the facility. Each of the blocks has the ability to function completely in an individual mode, independently of the other.
At the request of the customer, the modules can be operated in automatic mode without the presence of service personnel. The control panel provides for the joint control of two heating modules and a DHW module, which is planned to be installed in the future. The basis of the control panel is the Siemens controller, which provides automatic regulation of the water temperature in the heating and hot water systems, as well as provides effective protection and control of WILO circulation pumps.
The control room operation algorithm is designed in such a way that the second module can be switched on based on the following conditions:
- The thermal output of the first main module is not enough.
- A program of "working hours" has been laid down. To equalize the accumulated motor resource, at regular intervals, the system swaps the working unit with the backup unit.
- Detected malfunctions (diagnosed automatically by the system) of the "working" unit. The system switches to the "standby" (peak) unit provided that the thermal load is within 50% of the total power.
Also, one of the modules has an automatic feeding system for the heating circuit. The use of high-quality components from leading European manufacturers guarantees long-term and stable operation of this system.
