Steam trap DC1 (thermostatic, pressure balanced equipped with a membrane capsule). Made of stainless steel, for equipment with low and medium condensate flow.
Allows the removal of condensate at temperatures 5°C (H) and 15°C (L) below the saturation temperature of the steam.
It is mainly used in steam tracers, steam pipeline drainage, small heat exchangers, tank preheaters, steam coils and other equipment in petrochemical, chemical, textile, food, medical and other industries.
Capsular steam traps feature NO LEAKAGE of steam during operation.
Thermostatic pressure-balanced steam traps are equipped with a temperature-sensitive membrane capsule that ensures condensate drainage. The capsule is filled with a special liquid and adjusted in such a way that at a given pressure it always has a saturation temperature lower than that of water.
This is probably my favorite steam trap.
