Downstream pressure regulators Series REA20 are designed for compressible media such as air and other gases as well as incompressible media such as water, oil and others.
This series maintains a constant outlet pressure with a stable inlet pressure and a stable outlet steam flow.
Valves of this type can be used in a wide range of pressures. Pressure reducing valves can be manufactured with an impulse line (models REA20L, REAH20L, REAC20L) and with bodies made of malleable iron (REA20), cast steel (REAH20) or stainless steel (REAC20).
Downstream Pressure Regulators Series REA20 cannot be used for pulsed steam consumption or intermittent downstream loads. In the event of a load disconnection, the outlet pressure will increase.
All internal parts important for reliable operation of the valve are made of stainless steel. Depending on the medium, pressure reducing valves can be fitted with soft or metal valve/seat seals.
Maximum reduction ratio: 25:1.
Outlet pressure range: 0.5 - 16 bar.
